It transfers the vigor and stature and the leaves represent alumnae. They are closest to the stem and it provides assistance in its functioning. They are the ones those are exposed to the outer world and as the color of the petals is red they are for the females as they are faithful. Comparing with the flower as it bears color of wine and it is wonderful to see, same is the case with the associates of the Pi Beta Phi and they are respected.

The Pledge Pin- It is a arrowhead of Roman gold build up with the Greek letter B which denotes Beta in sparkling gold.

The history of the group shows that in the year 1930 and 1940 the songs on Pi Phi angles became very famous. It was a time when dramas were played portrayed Pi Phis and it was used for the employment. The compilations of the angels are very famous with the Pi Phis. The Founders did not make a choice for the angels for the fraternity symbol nevertheless it is unauthorized symbol for Pi Beta Phi.    

Colors and Motto- Wine and silver blue were the colors of the Fraternity and Greek Motto, Pi Beta Phi were implemented at the convention and it was in the year of 1882.

The main motive of Pi Beta Phi group is to spread friendship and making the females more intellectual, to increase leadership qualities and improving other lives with communal service.
